1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ZipPDF, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you are using the App on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. License to Use

Subject to these Terms, TechieHit Solutions grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use ZipPDF for your personal or internal business purposes. This license does not include:

• Modifying or creating derivative works based on the App
• Reverse engineering, decompiling, or disassembling the App
• Distributing, sublicensing, or reselling the App to any third party
• Using the App as part of a commercial service without prior written authorization from TechieHit Solutions

3. App Usage

ZipPDF is designed to process PDF and image files locally on Android devices—including PDF compression, batch compression, merging, splitting, password protection, PDF-to-image conversion, and image-to-PDF conversion. You may use the App to process files that you own or have the legal right to process. You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system, network, subscription entitlement, or data through or in connection with the App
• Use the App to process files that violate third-party intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or any other rights
• Interfere with, bypass, disable, or circumvent any security, billing, licensing, or technical mechanism of the App

4. User Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for:

• The PDF and image files you choose to process using the App
• Maintaining backups of your original files before compressing, merging, splitting, protecting, or converting them
• Remembering and securely storing any password you set using the Protect PDF feature
• Ensuring you have the legal right to process and modify the files you use in the App
• The secure storage of your device and the files contained on it

TechieHit Solutions is not responsible for any loss of data, file corruption, or quality reduction resulting from operations performed by the App. You should always retain your original file until you have verified that the output file meets your requirements.

Important Notice Regarding Password Protection: Because PDF encryption is performed 100% locally on your device and TechieHit Solutions never receives, transmits, or stores your passwords or files, we cannot recover your password or unlock a protected PDF if you forget the password you set.

5. Free Features, ZipPDF Pro Subscriptions & Advertising

Free Tier & ZipPDF Pro: ZipPDF provides core single-file PDF compression free of charge (supported by advertisements, with up to 10 recent history entries and up to 3 favorites). ZipPDF also offers optional paid subscriptions (ZipPDF Pro, available in Monthly and Yearly plans) that unlock all Pro tools (Batch Compress, Merge PDF, Split PDF, Protect PDF, PDF to Image, and Image to PDF), unlimited compression history and favorites, output file renaming, and an ad-free experience.

Billing & Automatic Renewal: All ZipPDF Pro subscriptions are billed through your Google Play account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle (monthly or yearly, depending on the plan selected) at the then-current subscription price unless canceled at least 24 hours prior to the end of the current billing period.

Managing & Canceling Subscriptions: You may manage or cancel your subscription at any time through the Google Play Store app on your Android device (Menu → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions) or online at play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions. Uninstalling or deleting the App from your device does not cancel an active Google Play subscription.

Effect of Cancellation & Refunds: When you cancel a subscription, you will continue to enjoy ZipPDF Pro access until the end of your current paid billing period, after which your subscription will not renew and the App will revert to the free tier. Because all payments are processed by Google Play, refund requests are subject to the Google Play Refund Policy and applicable consumer protection laws.

Restoring Purchases & Price Changes: If you reinstall ZipPDF or switch to a new Android device signed into the same Google Play account, you can restore your active Pro entitlement using the "Restore Purchases" option inside the App. We reserve the right to adjust subscription plans or pricing for future billing periods; any price changes will be communicated to you in advance via Google Play in accordance with Google Play Billing terms.

Advertising (Free Tier): For users on the free tier, ZipPDF displays advertisements using Google AdMob. Where required by applicable law (including in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland), ZipPDF uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to present and manage advertising privacy and consent choices. Depending on your location, applicable law, and consent choices, advertisements may be personalized or non-personalized.

6. Third-Party Software

ZipPDF includes open-source software libraries used for local on-device PDF processing. These libraries operate locally as part of the App and are not used by TechieHit Solutions to upload or process your PDF files on a remote server.

Third-party open-source software is subject to its respective license terms. Nothing in these Terms is intended to restrict or override the applicable license terms of open-source components included with the App.

7. Third-Party Services

All PDF and image processing in ZipPDF is performed locally on your Android device without requiring a user account or cloud upload. However, the App relies on the following third-party services for advertising, subscription billing, and entitlement verification:

• Google AdMob: Used to serve advertisements to free-tier users. Information handled by Google AdMob is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
• Google Play Billing & Google Play Services: Used to process in-app subscription transactions, manage recurring billing, and distribute the App. Your use of Google Play is subject to the Google Play Terms of Service.
• RevenueCat: Used to validate Google Play purchase tokens, manage subscription entitlements (zippdf_pro), and facilitate purchase restoration. Information processed by the RevenueCat SDK is governed by RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.

None of these third-party services have access to the contents of your PDF files, images, or document passwords. Document processing remains strictly an on-device operation.

8. Intellectual Property

ZipPDF and all related intellectual property rights owned by TechieHit Solutions are protected by applicable copyright and other intellectual property laws. The App name, logo, design, user interface, and original code may not be copied, reproduced, modified, distributed, or used as a basis for a competing product without prior written permission, except where permitted by applicable law or third-party open-source licenses.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

ZipPDF is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that:

• The App will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
• Any errors in the App will be corrected
• The App will be free of viruses, malware, or other harmful components
• Any specific compression ratios, quality levels, or results will be achieved
• Every PDF file will be compatible with every device, PDF reader, or version of the App

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, TechieHit Solutions and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of data, loss of profits, or loss of goodwill
• Any damages resulting from your use of, or inability to use, ZipPDF
• Any unauthorized access to or alteration of your files or data

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your license to use ZipPDF if you materially violate these Terms or misuse the App. Upon termination:

• You must cease use of the App
• You should delete the App from your device if instructed as part of a lawful termination
• Any licenses granted under these Terms will terminate to the extent permitted by applicable law

Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property rights, disclaimers, and limitations of liability — shall survive.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time, including when we add or change features such as advertising, subscriptions, or other services. We will post changes on this page and update the "Last Updated" date. For material changes, we may also provide notice through the App where appropriate.

Your continued use of ZipPDF after revised Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of ZipPDF shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in India, subject to any rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
